Middletown, NY — County Draperies is proud to announce that Kristen Ferrara, our VP of Sales and Estimating, and now IDCEC-certified, is offering a new CEU-accredited course, Behind the Seams – Window Treatments and Bedding Overview for Designers.
Developed to support interior designers and purchasing professionals, this course provides a comprehensive overview of window treatments and bedding from a fabricator’s perspective. Participants will explore a wide range of products, including draperies, sheers, roller shades, roman shades, hardware systems, cornices, valances, and select bedding applications.
Through real-world examples and practical instruction, the course focuses on strengthening communication between designers and fabricators. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how products are constructed, specified, and installed; empowering them to translate design intent into well-executed, buildable solutions.
By bridging the gap between creative vision and technical execution, Behind the Seams equips designers with the knowledge needed to align projects with budget parameters, functional requirements, and installation realities.
The course is available both in person and online.
