2026: The Year of Support

As we step into 2026, I find myself reflecting on what truly drives our success as a company. We often talk about strategy, innovation, and preserving our heritage, and all those matter. But beneath every milestone we reach and every challenge we overcome, our people are the ones who light the way. The truth is simple but powerful; everyone in our company has a key role to play, and when each of us shows up fully, the entire organization moves forward with purpose and strength.
No matter the department, title, or tenure, our people bring our company higher each day. When every link holds, we find ourselves capable of more than we ever knew. That’s why we have branded this year at County Draperies “The Year of Support”.

What Support Really Means
Support isn’t complicated, but it is intentional. It shows up in big decisions and in quiet moments. It lives in the way we serve our clients, collaborate with our colleagues, and take care of ourselves so that we can bring our best to the table.
In 2026, we have posed three questions to our company:
How can I support our clients? Sometimes support looks like proactive communication, anticipating needs before they’re voiced, or taking those extra few minutes to triple check accuracy and quality. Our clients depend on us, not only for exceptional window treatments and bedding, but for reliability, responsiveness, and partnership.
How can I support my team? Support isn’t limited to job descriptions. It’s refilling the supplies everyone uses. It’s answering a question instead of assuming “someone else will.” It’s stepping in when a colleague is overwhelmed. It’s offering ideas, sharing knowledge, and being open to feedback. Every voice has value. Every perspective matters.
How can I support myself? None of us can show up for others if we are burnt out, frustrated, or exhausted. Support means taking breaks when needed, asking for help instead of pushing through silently, and acknowledging that we’re all human. Taking care of ourselves is not selfish, it’s responsible.
Challenges as Opportunities
In a fast-moving industry, change is inevitable. Every new challenge offers us the opportunity to sharpen our processes, elevate our craftsmanship, and deliver even greater value to our clients. Staying flexible and responsive ensures that we continue to meet the needs of a world that’s constantly moving forward.
