Middletown, NY — County Draperies is proud to announce the completion of a landmark drapery installation at the iconic Waldorf Astoria in New York City, contributing to the renewed elegance of one of the city’s most celebrated hotels.
This extensive project included drapery for the grand ballroom, the Jade and Astor Galleries, and the signature restaurant. In addition, nearly 1,000 guestrooms were outfitted with fully motorized, pinch-pleated drapes. Each space was carefully curated with drapery tailored to its unique aesthetic and function.

Over the course of two years, the County Draperies team collaborated closely with designers, contractors, and hotel leadership to ensure seamless integration and remarkable results. Special recognition is extended to Chelsea Bhola, Project Management Team Lead, for her exceptional precision and steadfast dedication, which were instrumental to the success of this project. Appreciation also goes to Design and Measurement Coordinator Kyra Cassisi for her meticulous attention to detail.
“This was a rewarding challenge,” said Chelsea. “It demanded agility, focus, and determination from everyone involved. Seeing it come together so beautifully makes every step of the journey worthwhile.”
As the Waldorf Astoria’s highly anticipated reopening captures widespread attention, the drapery installations by County Draperies stand out as a key element in redefining the guest experience and restoring the hotel’s signature elegance.
